New parks pop up in our sleep these days it seems like. There a great place to hang out and smoke cigs, meet up with my friends and talk shit on Ryan Sheckler. It's also a great place to pick up on moms. Brighton park offers all this and it adds a bunch on hips, vert and lines in the mix. Three sections all divided up nicely. Coping is sick and did I mention it's bike friendly. Open till eleven at night so bring your PBR's and session till summer is gone.

Get Up Them Hills

Every year in Colorado we like to head to the mountains and camp, hit all the parks and see all the scenery and drink all the beer. There's been some killer summers and every year seems to be just more fun. Here's some photos from the last year and some stories to go along.

Billy Graham is a fiend for the mountains, it must be his Iowa upbringing.  Always down for new trails and new roads to explore. He also kills it at every stop. This was a shitty little park in Alamosa. it was way hot but as Jay Nelson would say "we busted it out".

Pat Sabo is a nut job that's the simplest  way to describe him. A healthy diet of cigarettes, beer, red bulls, weed and smores is all that is need for this kids intake. If the fire wasn't available to make the smores, he would use his lighter and cook it that way. Damn good person to have along if you can.

Dave the skater came along for the fun and ended up with 18 stitches from his board. The hospital was right next to the park so we dropped him off there and we kept on riding.

Camping  is sooo good for road trips. Sitting around the camp fire talkin' shit and laughing,  pissin' and shiting in the woods, good times for sure. Don't forget to bring the proper set-up, sucks when your not prepared, but those can also be the most memorable ones.

This park lies about 12,000 feet up in a town called Ridgeway. We road 2 times and got booted by the same bored ass cop. The views were amazing all around. We road with a cool skater who was just happy to have some body to ride with. 

The view Pat Sabo is looking at is on a road called the million dollar highway. It runs from Ouray to Durango, Colorado and is one of the best roads in America to drive. The road gets really skinny and the drops are deadly to say the least. You drive real slow and fell real small. We drove this road on a nice dose of mushroom tea. Crazy you say? Not in our book, we had a blast and I will never forget it. There's parks in all the towns along this highway basically as well.
